PC World reviewed EditGrid in detail and it’s a good read for those who are still deciding whether to move online and those still seeking an online spreadsheet service. Here’s an excert on what sets us apart:

EditGrid has some tricks that the competitors lack. EditGrid supports some online mashups, letting you insert stock-price charts, exchange rates, and other financial data from services such as Alexa, Compete.com, Google Charts, Reuters, and Yahoo Finance. EditGrid also publishes an API (application programming interface) that lets you integrate the service with your existing applications, though you will need some technical knowledge to accomplish that.

Along with all the good things said, there were some areas/features mentioned that we lacked and we recognize those and are continuously improving it with our monthly releases. By the way, the cell merge feature that was mentioned as missing, that’s been available since our January 2008 release.
